一個32 位元的微處理器，它的32 位元指令是由兩部分組成：
第一個byte 為OP code，其餘部分是immediate operand 或是
operand address。假設local address bus 是32 位元，local data bus
是16 位元，再假設address bus 與data bus 之間並沒有使用時
間分工(time multiplexing)技術。
(一) 請求出最大的可以被直接住址存取(directly addressable)的
記憶體空間(memory capacity in bytes)。（10 分）
(二) 請求出Program Counter 所需要的最小位元數。（10 分

在一個多工環境(multiprogramming environment)中，因為系統
單位時間的產值(system throughput, Ws)受很多系統參數影響
以至於非常複雜難以求得，因此通常使用CPU 的單位時間產
值(CPU throughput, Wp)來求得系統效能。

一) 使用下列參數，推導出Wp 的方程式。（10 分）
IC = 一個程式的平均指令(average instructions per program)
CPI = 一個指令的平均cycles (average cycles per instruction)
τ = CPU 的cycle time（秒）

二) 假設Wp = MIPS × K，則K 應為多少？（10 分）
(MIPS = Million Instructions per Second)

針對下列兩個十進位數字，使用32-bit IEEE 754 浮動點小數表示法(floating point representation)表示之。

有關記憶體設計：
(一) 假設一個記憶體的位置(location)可以儲存4 bytes，請問需
要多少條address lines 才能存取一個512K bytes 的記憶
體。（10 分）
(二) 使用(8K×1)-byte chips 與decoder，畫出此一記憶體系統。
